Stainless steel drying racks can develop rust marks when an unsuitable grade is used, the surface becomes contaminated, welding areas are poorly treated, or aggressive chemicals remain on the metal. A properly produced stainless steel drying rack offers strong moisture resistance, but it is not automatically immune to every environment.
